PREVIEW PACKAGE CONTENT - This Package has 1 Sessions

It is now evident that the microbial communities we are colonized with, known as the microbiome, can have a significant impact on human phenotypes, both in health and disease. Research on the lung microbiome offers considerable potential clinical impact through a better understanding of disease pathogenesis, treatment responses, and personalizing medical care. Improved knowledge about microbial communities in the lung will contribute to development of innovative approaches to diagnosis and treatment of chronic respiratory diseases. This session will teach the basic principles behind microbiome methodologies (identification, quantification, analysis) and how these methodologies can be applied to research and patient care.
